Norman, Oklahoma, will be the first place that four-star quarterback Bowe Bentley officially checks out.

On3 reported that Bowe has scheduled five official visits during the month of March, including Oklahoma, LSU, Ohio State, Florida State and Georgia Tech. OU will be his first stop on March 8 after he already visited Norman earlier in February.

Bentley's recruitment status has skyrocketed in just the last few months, which is a big reason why he's one of the few top 2026 quarterbacks still uncommitted as his junior year winds down.

The Sooners offered Bentley on Jan. 24 despite already having a strong commitment from four-star quarterback Jaden O'Neal in the class. O'Neal has consistently reassured his pledge since doubt was stirred because of OU's new quarterback target. O'Neal is even leaving his home state of California to finish his preps career at nearby Mustang High School in Oklahoma.

OU's offer to Bentley came during a flurry of new interest in late January and early February. By Feb. 5, Bentley had picked up offers from LSU, Ohio State, Indiana, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Missouri and Virginia Tech in just over two weeks.

Bentley caught the attention of scouts after leading Celina High School to a Class 4A Texas state championship then impressing at the Navy All-American Bowl on Jan. 11, just two weeks before OU came knocking.

When OU initially offered Bentley just over a month ago, On3 had given him three stars and he was unrated by Rivals. Now, he's a consensus four-star recruit and On3 ranks him as high as the No. 10 quarterback in the class. On3 ranks O'Neal at No. 11.

On3 also predicts Bentley, a longtime OU fan, to choose the Sooners despite them already having a quarterback on board. Bentley would be OU's fifth commitment in the early stages of the 2026 class.

The Sooners' 2026 class so far is made up of four offensive players, including O'Neal, four-star wide receiver Daniel Odom, four-star tight end Ryder Mix and three-star offensive lineman Will Conroy.
