Everything is going pretty well for the Oklahoma women's basketball program right now, but no one is safe from transfer portal losses.
The Sooners went 27-8 in their fourth season under coach Jennie Baranczyk and made the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013. OU's season was ended with a loss to the UConn Huskies, who went on to win the national championship.
During OU's March Madness run, the transfer portal opened on March 24, the same day the Sooners beat Iowa to advance to the Sweet 16. A week later and only a few days after losing to UConn, OU suffered its first transfer portal departure in junior shooting guard Reyna Scott.
So far, only two players have entered the transfer portal from the Sooners' roster. On the flip side, OU hasn't made any additions from the transfer portal yet.
Tracking Sooners in college basketball transfer portal
Reyna Scott, a junior shooting guard, was OU's first transfer portal loss on March 31. Scott has spent her entire career with the Sooners so far since committing out of New York City.
Scott contributed a lot for the Sooners this past season while appearing in every game with 16 starts. She got her first career start against Georgia on Jan. 26 and held that spot for the rest of the season.
She averaged 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists a game this season.
A local product from Tuttle, Oklahoma, Landry Allen hasn't gotten much playing time after sitting behind All-American Raegan Beers this season. Allen averaged only 4.8 minutes with 1.8 points, 0.9 rebounds and 0.3 assists this season as a sophomore.
Allen, listed at 6-foot-3, is a former four-star recruit recruit.
