No program is immune to transfer portal losses, not even Oklahoma softball.
As of Thursday, the Sooners have lost four players so far to the transfer portal since being eliminated in the semifinals of the 2025 Women's College World Series. Eventually, though, additions will also inevitably be made from the portal.
This list will be updated as more moves are made.
Tracking Sooners' portal losses
Corri Hicks, C
Corri Hicks was OU's first portal loss. Hicks, a freshman, didn't see much action in her only season at OU. She hit .261 with three home runs.
Isabela Emerling started over Hicks this season and is expected to return next year. The Sooners also have top 2025 catcher prospect Kendall Wells on the way.
Maya Bland, OF
Maya Bland was a big-time prospect in 2023 but never got much playing time once at OU. She was mostly used as a pinch runner as a freshman, then her playing time took even more of a dip as a sophomore this season.
Hannah Coor, OF
Of the Sooners' portal losses so far, Hannah Coor will be the biggest blow as she uses her final year of eligibility elsewhere. However, Coor was used as a platoon outfielder while making 23 starts in 2025 and OU won't lose any starting outfielders. Coor was mainly used for her glove, but she also hit .329 this season.
Kadey Lee McKay, IF
Kadey Lee McKay appeared in only seven games this season as a freshman and was 1-for-5 at the plate. Cydney Sanders is the only infielder OU is expected to lose, so there wasn't much more playing time in McKay's future at OU.
