It was like opposite day on the set of ESPN College GameDay on Saturday morning in Eugene, Oregon.

Things were already weird for Oklahoma fans with College GameDay on the West Coast for a matchup between Oregon and USC that Sooner Nation will actually have to root for Lincoln Riley's Trojans during, but things got even more topsy-turvy when the cast started making their predictions for the day, including the No. 8 Sooners hosting No. 22 Missouri.

Pat McAfee and Desmond Howard swap staple picks for Oklahoma-Missouri

OU fans were immediately taken back when Desmond Howard, who seemingly never picks the Sooners, actually predicted OU to beat Mizzou on Saturday morning. It was the first time this season Howard went with the Sooners, who beat Michigan, Howard's alma mater, when College GameDay was in Norman Week 2. However, even though Howard might have picked the Sooners, he still somehow praised the Tigers more.

"Missouri will lose this game, but I think their defense is gonna make this game closer than everyone thinks, but OU will pull it out," Howard said.

After Nick Saban agreed with Howard because of OU's defense, Pat McAfee threw another curveball by going against the Sooners, who he's been a believer in all season, especially OU quarterback John Mateer.

"(Missouri running back) Ahmad Hardy just ran for 300 yards and three touchdowns against Missisippi State. John Mateer has not played good football," McAfee said. "I love Oklahoma -- I like God's country down there -- I think Missouri wins this game."

Guest picker and former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota then agreed with McAfee before Kirk Herbstreit picked the Sooners over Mizzou.
