Oklahoma sophomore Ella Parker has been named SEC Softball Co-Player of the Week.

Parker, who was used primarily as a designated player her freshman season at Oklahoma while helping lead the Sooners to their fourth consecutive national championship, was a major contributor in OU's 6-0 start to the 2025 college softball season this past weekend.

The left-hand hitting Parker collected 13 hits in 22 plate appearances for a .591 batting average, along with 10 runs scored, five doubles, one home run, eight runs batted in and three stolen bases.

Parker's 13 hits on the opening weekend tied her with Savanna Groshon-Kirk of Grand Canyon for the most in the country, and her five doubles tied her with Siena's Ashley Giampolo.

The preseason All-American's weekend production at the plate included a .955 slugging percentage and a .679 on-base percentage.

This is Parker's first weekly honor as a collegian, as well as the first SEC Softball Player of the Week honor in OU history. Parker shared the weekly award with Nelia Peralta of Auburn.

Parker made starts at both corner outfield positions, as well as designated player in the No. 3 Sooners' six game swing over the weekend in Southern California, which included a 9-0 win over Loyola Marymount on Saturday in Parker's home town of Los Angeles. Her home run, a solo shot, came in that game.

The Sooners will participate this weekend in the Getterman Classic hosted by Baylor. They will play four games in Waco, Texas, between Saturday and Sunday.
