As a guest on the "Under The Visor Podcast" this week ahead of the Oklahoma Sooners' massive matchup against Michigan, Connor Stalions actually shared some advice on how he thinks the Sooners can beat his old program.
Stalions was made famous as the fall guy of Michigan's sign-stealing scandal. He was on Michigan's staff from 2018 until he resigned as part of consequences for the sign-stealing situation in 2023.

Whether his advice can be trusted or not, Stalions certainly knows the Wolverines and still keeps up. Still frequently in the news because of social media posts and podcast appearances, Stalions slipped a strategy that could benefit the Sooners on Saturday.
"I probably shouldn't say this and give them any ideas, but if I'm Oklahoma, I'm going up-tempo," Stalions said. "I'm getting as many snaps as I can. We want to sling the rock like left and right. ...
"I think if this game turns into a drawn out, a.k.a like a short game because there's fewer possessions, I think Michigan has the edge there. Oklahoma, in my opinion, would want to get as many snaps as they can and forget about time of possession. Just go go go."
John Mateer went 30/37 for 392 yards and 3TD’s last week. I asked former UM Defensive Analyst Connor Stalions about Michigan’s secondary and he had a suggestion based on last year’s matchup with Ohio State.

Stalions hasn't had a coaching job in college football since the infamous sign-stealing scandal. He was at the center of it all so received the brunt of the backlash, while Michigan itself barely even got a slap on the wrist.
Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was the offensive coordinator at the time and was involved, but he'll be suspended a total of just three games. And Michigan got to choose which games, so Moore can be on the sidelines when the Wolverines travel to Oklahoma, where Moore played.
The No. 18 Sooners will host No. 15 Michigan at 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday in Norman. The game will be on ESPN.
