It doesn't matter that CeeDee Lamb is from the state of Texas or how long he calls the Lone Star State home, you'll never see him throw "Horns Up."

A picture of Lamb and new Dallas Cowboys teammate George Pickens was recently posted from NFL Training Camp. Some people, especially Texas fans, took notice of Lamb's hand gesture.

CeeDee Lamb assures he still hates Texas

A trolling Texas fan commented on Lamb's hands as if the former Sooner was throwing "Horns Up." Others also pointed it out. Lamb apparently saw the accusations and clapped back to the comment to assure he'd never be caught dead with "Horns Up."

"you do realize, i’m showing the back of my hand right? Me and Texas will never go together, sorry," Lamb wrote.

Even the official University of Oklahoma X account had Lamb's back while other Texas fans still tried to troll.

Lamb was a two-way star at Foster High School in Richmond, Texas, before choosing the Sooners over Texas and many others as a four-star recruit. At one point, 247Sports even had a Crystal Ball Prediction for Lamb to commit to the Longhorns, but he wanted to be a Sooner instead.

At OU, Lamb caught passes from two Heisman Trophy winners in Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, and a Heisman runner-up in Jalen Hurts. He was a consensus All-American in 2019 and was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award. Lamb was 3-1 against Texas during his career. The Longhorns won in 2018, but then Lamb and the Sooners got revenge in the Big 12 Championship Game.

The Cowboys then forced Lamb back to the state of Texas after taking him with the No. 17 overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. He's since become one of the best wide receivers in the league as a four-time Pro Bowler and First-Team All-Pro in 2023.
