We've all seen clips of Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables firing up his football team with a passionate speech in the locker room after big-time wins, but now even other OU sports are benefitting from his powerful words as Skip Johnson got to save his own voice while his baseball team experienced a famous Venables speech firsthand.

Venables was in Omaha on Monday night to witness the Sooners beat No. 3 national seed Georgia 4-3 to improve to 2-0 in the Men's College World Series and hop in the driver's seat to the championship series. But he did more than just watch.

After the win, OU shortstop Jaxon Willits revealed that Venables shared some inspiring words with the team that has him and his teammates fired up to take on the rest of the MCWS. The Sooners await the winner of Georgia and Texas and are now just one win away from the championship series.

"Brent talked to us for a second, and I'm gonna be honest, he had me ready to go play linebacker and ready to run through a wall," Willits said. "He's pretty good at what he does."

It's clear why Jaxon Willits was so fired up after Brent Venables' locker room moment

The OU baseball X account eventually shared video of Venables' electric speech and it's clear why Willits was ready to suit up.

"This team's got something special," Venables said. "You guys are battle-tested. You're like America's team right now. You all know that? You're inspiring people by how you do what you do. And you know it when you see it, you know it when you don't.

"You guys are at the freaking doorway right now," Venables continued before getting the team to also repeat and shout that they're at the doorway "Now."

"Freaking dominate this moment sitting in front of you. Dominate. Finish the freaking job."

Venables then broke the team out to "Finish" after telling them, "This team right here is destined for freaking greatness."

Here's the full video to watch and have you ready to take on whatever your day has in front of you:

This was yet another example in Omaha of what Johnson recently compared to a "family-owned business" when asked about all the support his team is getting from other sports during their MCWS run. After beating Georgia, the Sooners' dugout at Charles Schwab Field Omaha was crowded with current and former OU coaches from multiple sports celebrating the win.

The fan club included Venables, men's basketball coach Porter Moser and women's basketball coach Jennie Baranczyk. Moser and Baranczyk, along with legendary football coaches Bob Stoops and Barry Switzer, have been in Omaha since the Sooners' opening game on Saturday. Venables joined the rest of Sooner Nation after a successful weekend of recruiting.

Stoops already gave some advice to Johnson and now Venables gave the team a speech, so now let's hope Switzer has something planned.
