Bedlam is still alive on the baseball field and getting national attention.
Oklahoma and Oklahoma State still meet as part of the Bedlam Series on the diamond, including softball. There won't be a full series this baseball season with OU now in the SEC, but the rivals will still get one game.
ESPN on Thursday announced that Bedlam will be featured as one of its in-state rivalry games that will be televised on ESPN2 this college baseball season. Other matchups included Arizona-Arizona State, Florida-Florida State, Texas-Texas A&M and Tennessee-Vanderbilt.
OU and OSU will be on ESPN2 at 7p.m. CT Tuesday, April 15. The Cowboys will host the mid-week clash at O'Brate Stadium.
The Cowboys got the best of OU last year in their final season in the Big 12 together. OSU beat the Sooners in the Big 12 Baseball Championship final to win the conference title. The Cowboys won four of meetings throughout last season.
The Sooners, though, did win the regular-season Big 12 title.
Also part of ESPN's announcements, the Sooners will have nine games televised on an ESPN platform, not including SEC Network+. OU will play Dallas Baptist and Oral Roberts for midweek games on ESPN+.
Televised SEC games include Alabama on SEC Network (March 29), LSU on ESPN2 (April 3), Vanderbilt on SEC Network (April 11), Georgia on ESPNU (April 24), Georgia on SEC Network (April 26) and Kentucky on SEC Network (May 10).
