Baker Mayfield is easier to root for off the field than on it.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers recently shared a video on social media from their 11th annual Cut and Color Funds the Cure that benefits the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. In the video, Mayfield let multiple pediatric patients color his hair red and creamsicle. And honestly, considering how much Mayfield loves the crimson and cream, I'm surprised his hair hasn't been a red before.
"How do I look," Mayfield immediately asked afterward.

Constant instances like this always make Sooners Nation proud to claim Mayfield, but not just OU and Bucs fans praised and thanked Mayfield for his most recent kind gesture.
According to ESPN, the event raised $760,000 this year, and the Bucs alone had raised about $80,000 in donations as of Tuesday night. Multiple other Tampa Bay players and staff also participated in the event, with Bucs chief operating officer Brian Ford continuing his tradition of getting his head shaved.
Mayfield regularly participates in charity events off the field. He and his wife, Emily, created the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation together. According to the foundation's website, "We provide programs, scholarships, and philanthropic opportunities to help others tackle life's challenges in order to be the best version of themselves."
Projects of the foundation include the Giving Bowl for local Tampa Bay charities, Be the Ball that raised over $220,000 for the Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County, Passing the Joy during Christmas time and the Walk On Scholarship, which is two $10,000 scholarships awarded to active walk-on athletes at their university.
