Adrian Peterson Jr.'s highlights are going viral.

Sooner Nation could get to watch Adrian Peterson in a crimson and cream uniform again someday (sort of).

Peterson's son, Adrian Peterson Jr., has a highlight video that is going viral on social media. His dad originally posted two highlight videos on Instagram before multiple other accounts shared one, as well.

Adrian Peterson Jr. is still just a seventh grader as a member of the 2030 class, but he's already showing he has the talent (and obviously the DNA) to run in his dad's footsteps one day. Brent Venables might as well get an early offer out now.

As he should be, Adrian Peterson is a proud father and well aware of his son's potential. And Peterson isn't biased in his evaluation, nor is this just expecting a great player's son to also be really good based on genetics. However, those are gigantic cleats to fill as the son of one of the greatest running backs in college football and NFL history.

Peterson has also promoted his younger brother before on social media. Nelson Peterson Jr. is much closer to making a name for himself, though, as a quarterback in the 2026 class.

Nelson Peterson Jr., named after his and Adrian's father, is a four-star quarterback from Forney, Texas. He has reported offers from Ole Miss, Texas Tech and UTEP. He has reportedly visited OU, but the Sooners still haven't offered. However, OU already has a strong quarterback commit for the 2026 class in Jaden O'Neal.

Another Peterson likely won't be playing at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium until at least 2030, but that does seem like a real possibility already.
