A reminder that no matter the stage or opponent, Sooner Nation hates Texas

Texas sucks

Go Buckeyes?

The Texas Longhorns are taking on the Ohio State Buckeyes on Friday night in the Cotton Bowl as part of the semifinals of the College Football Playoff. The winner will move on to the College Football Playoff final to play Notre Dame for a national championship on Monday, Jan. 20.

At halftime, Ohio State leads the Longhorns 14-7 in Texas' own state. The Buckeyes scored on their opening drive then shut down Texas until its last possession of the half when the Longhorns finally scored on an 18-yard pass from Quinn Ewers to Jaydon Blue with 29 seconds left.

The game wasn't tied for long, though. Just one play later, TreVeyon Henderson took a screen pass for a 75-yard TD to give the Buckeyes the lead again with 13 seconds left.

Since this game kicked off a little after 6:30 p.m. CT, Sooner Nation has made its allegiance publicly known on social media. It was proven OU fans root for the Sooners and whoever is playing the Texas Longhorns.

As conference pride is at an all-time low, it's still seemingly the highest in the SEC, which both OU and Texas left the Big 12 for just before this season kicked off. But that move or conference bragging rights do not matter to the OU faithful.

Texas playing in a big-time game against another unlikable opponent is a reminder that no matter what, Sooner Nation hates the Longhorns and Texas always sucks.

And OU fans aren't the only ones.

A known bad luck charm supporting Texas is good luck for Longhorn haters.

And we're sure there's no way both teams can lose?

Again, Go Buckeyes??

Either way, today is just like every other day.

And there's plenty of Texas hate going on over at the Stormin' in Norman Facebook page.
