Arkansas announced on Wednesday that it has a new partnership with local company Tyson Foods for the company's logo to appear on jerseys for every sport starting in the 2026-27 sports year.
According to Arkansas' press release, about 90% of the revenue from the deal will go toward NIL for Arkansas athletics. Some fans might think a brand on a jersey is an eyesore, but losing teams are even harder to look at it, and it takes more money than ever to buy talent to win games.
This is about to be a new norm in college athletics that the Oklahoma Sooners will likely also soon take advantage of, but the main question for now is which company logo could eventually be on the crimson and cream?
AT&T
Unlike the companies on the rest of this list, AT&T is not an Oklahoma company, but it's not that far away with headquarters in Dallas, where there's a massive OU footprint. The Sooners also have a key connection with AT&T thanks to Chair of Athletics and Special Adviser to the President and Athletic Director Randall Stephenson, who was AT&T's CEO in 2007-20. AT&T could be a possibility if the Sooners are looking to swing big.
Braum's
Braum's ice cream is an Oklahoma staple just like Sooners athletics. A bright pink ice cream cone might not be aesthetically pleasing on a crimson jersey, but every OU fan will know where to go to celebrate after every Sooner victory.
Love's Travel Stops
The Love's logo is already on the Oklahoma City Thunder's jerseys and the company also funded Love's Field for the OU softball stadium, so what's one more sponsorship going to hurt? Love's was founded by Oklahoman Tom Love, who attended OU and was awarded an honorary degree in 2024 shortly after his death.
QuikTrip
QuikTrips are already everywhere Oklahomans look, so might as well be on the TV, too. Not only is QuikTrip a company founded in Tulsa and still headquartered there, but co-founder Chester Cadieux graduated from OU. That simple red QT logo could also look real nice on the Sooners' uniforms.
Simple Modern
Simple Modern co-founder Bryan Porter is an OU alum and still a massive Sooners fan, with his company frequently releasing tumblers with OU designs. And when this sponsorship talk was resparked on Wednesday, Porter made it clear which logo he wanted the Sooners to rep.
