Within two days, there were already a record number of college basketball players in the transfer portal, including some Sooners.

All that talent gives Porter Moser and Oklahoma plenty of options to reload what will basically be an entirely new roster next season. The Sooners are losing 13 so far, with nine exhausting their eligibility, three entering the transfer portal and star freshman Jeremiah Fears expected to enter the NBA Draft. That leaves just four players from this season's roster.

Some talent quickly found new homes, but here are the five best players available in the transfer portal as of Wednesday.

Isaac McKneely is a 6-foot-4 junior combo guard from Virginia. He's spent his entire career to this point at Virginia and has started for the Cavaliers the past two seasons. This season, he averaged 14.4 points a game and has shot a career 42.2% from the 3-point line, making him a top option for any team looking for a shooter, which the Sooners will need after losing Brycen Goodine.

There are a lot of great point guards out there in the transfer portal, and Dedan Thomas is up there with the top of the group. Only a sophomore, Thomas is already a two-year starter with a lot of experience handling the ball. This season, he averaged 15.6 points and 4.7 assists a game.

Bryce Hopkins has tremendous talent, but we haven't gotten to see much of it recently. A senior, Hopkins has been limited the past two seasons. He tore his ACL last January and never really got healthy after that, playing only three games this season for Providence. When on the court, though, Hopkins has averaged 17 points down low.

Josh Dix is a monstrous shooting guard at 6-foot-6 and 210 pounds. An Iowa native who has never played outside his home state, Dix is now in the portal for the first time as a junior. He's another stellar available shooter, making 42.2% of his 3-pointers this season while averaging 14.4 points for Iowa.

There seems to be a consensus that Donovan Dent is the best player still available in the transfer portal. A junior point guard in the portal for the first time, Dent averaged 20.4 points and 6.4 assists this season for New Mexico. He can do it all from dish, to score. He also shot 40.9% from 3-point range this season and made 49% of all his shots.
