Oklahoma football: How to watch, betting odds, injury report for OU vs. Tulsa

and his 19th-ranked Oklahoma football team take to the road for Week 3 of the 2023 season and a game in Tulsa on Saturday afternoon against the Tulsa University Golden Hurricane.

The game is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa. This is the third different start time for an Oklahoma game this season. The Sooners had an 11 a.m. start time to open the season at home against Arkansas State. OU won that game 73-0. Last weekend, the Sooners hosted SMU in a game that started at 5 p.m. The Sooners prevailed in that one 28-11 to begin the season 2-0.

How to watch

The OU-Tulsa contest will be televised on ESPN2 with an announce team of Dave Fleming doing the play-by-play, former college and NFL player Brock Osweiler providing analysis and sideline reporter Kayla Burton. The game can also be viewed on the streaming service Fubo TV.

Betting odds

Oklahoma is a 28.5-point favorite in the game, according to Betsided, the FanSided.com betting site. The over/under is 59.5.

Key players

QB Dillon Gabriel for Oklahoma on offense and junior LB Danny Stutsman on defense. Gabriel has passed for over 3,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in each of three full seasons as a college starting quarterback. Through two games, he is completing a career-high 78 percent of his passes (38 of 49) for 484 yards and six touchdowns without an interception. Stutsman led the Big 12 last season with 125 tackles and he leads the team again in 2023 with 21 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Jordan Ford is the No. 1 running back in a run-heavy Tulsa offense. A year ago, he had 56 carries the entire season. He has 34 carries for 177 yards in two games this season and is averaging 5.2 yards per carry. Fifth-year senior safety Kendarin Ray has been the man on defense. He leads the Golden Hurricane with 17 tackles in 2023 and has 239 for his career to go with four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.
