Oklahoma Football: What does the ideal 8-game SEC schedule look like for OU in 2024?

The Sooners end the 2024 regular season on the road in Rocky Top.

This will be rivalry week in college football. LSU will play Arkansas, Bama plays Auburn, Florida will play Florida State, and Ole Miss will play Mississippi State. The SEC recognizes the big game potential of an OU versus Tennessee matchup this week instead of a Tennessee Vandy matchup as customary.

A&M and Texas should square off in rivalry week as well.

This is a brutal away game to end the season, but it’s the SEC. We saw Sterling Shepard’s magic the last time the Sooners were in Knoxville. We may see a repeat in 2024, only this time, it’ll be Jaquaize Pettaway.
