It’s official. Jalen Hurts is a rich man.

The ink is still drying on a Hurts contract extension with the defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles for a reported five years, $255 million, with $179 million guaranteed.

This extension makes Hurts the highest-paid player in NFL History.

The deal was negotiated by Oklahoma Sooners’ alumni Nicole Lynn of Klutch Sports Group.

Hurts’ contract extension includes a no-trade clause, a first in Philadelphia Eagles history.
He led the Eagles to the Super Bowl last season behind 3,701 passing yards for 22 touchdowns and 760 rushing yards for 13 additional rushing touchdowns. It was a matter of time before Hurts’ hard work, humility, and leadership paid off for the Sooners fan favorite.

During Jalen’s time in college he developed a reputation as a consummate professional and leader  After transferring to Norman from the University of Alabama, Jalen quickly became one of Sooner Nation’s most beloved players. Jalen’s on field production saw him amass 3,851 passing yards for 32 touchdowns plus 1,298 rushing yards for 20 touchdowns. Following his first, and only season in Norman, Jalen was named the Big 12’s Newcomer of the year and the All Big 12’s first team list.
Jalen has fast become equally as productive as a pro quarterback as he was a collegiate one. Head coach Nick Siriani compares Jalen to Michael Jordan…

Congratulations, Jalen. Call us if you need any advice on how to spend some of that cash.
