At long last, college football is nearly back. Here’s how to watch Oklahoma Sooners football throughout the 2022 season.

Boomer Sooner! Football is almost back – which means we finally have our Saturday rituals back. Here’s how to watch Oklahoma Sooners football in 2022.

Oklahoma Sooners 2022 Outlook

At lot has changed from a season ago in Norman. The Sooners lost two quarterbacks and two wide receivers to the transfer portal, as well as head coach Lincoln Riley.

In comes Brent Venables as head coach after years of being perhaps the nation’s best coordinator and UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Gabriel is no stranger to an up-tempo offense or OC Jeff Lebby.

But Gabriel’s success will likely be tied to receiver Marvin Mims. Mims averaged 22 yards per reception last season, but was largely a hit-or-miss player.

Defensively, we expect to see vast improvements under Venables and DC Ted Roof. The system was on display at Clemson and caused fits for even the most talented offenses.

Oklahoma Football Schedule 2022

Currently, the Sooners have three games locked into time slots and networks. They are:

Saturday, September 3: vs UTEP (3:30PM ET, FOX)

Saturday, September 10: vs Kent State (7PM ET, ESPN+)

Saturday, September 17: at Nebraska (12PM ET, FOX)

Overall, the Sooners will likely be favored in each of their first five games. The Red River Rivalry will be the first real test for Oklahoma, but the real slog comes in the second half of the season. There’s a three-week stretch where the Sooners will take on Baylor, West Virginia and Oklahoma State.
