WR Marvin Mims on watch list for two more national awards

The Oklahoma Sooners WR Marvin Mims is on a few more award watch lists, this time for the Wuerffel Trophy and the Paul Hornung Award.

This Wuerffel Trophy is named after former Florida QB Dannyย  Wuerffel and is given annually to the top college player who shows top-notch performance on the field while doing exemplary work off the field.

In addition, Mims has been named to the Paul Hornung Award watch list. Named after Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Notre Dame Heisman Trophy winner. that award is given to the most versatile player in the country.

Marvin Mims has previously been named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list, annually given to the nationโ€™s top wide receiver.

Mims is a man of many talents doing great work in the community and doing amazing things on the football field. The Sooner standpoint has served as their top wideout and punt returner of the last couple of seasons and is expected to break out even more in Jeff Lebbyโ€™s pedal-to-the-metal offensive philosophy.

The Sooners looked locked in and ready to rock the Palace in a few short weeks, and Marvin Mims is no exception.
