Sooners vs. Texas, odds, spread, over/under & betting pick, Week 6

WynnBET’s Week 6 NCAAF odds have Oklahoma as a narrow favorite (-3.5) in the 117th Red River Showdown against Texas. The Sooners are 1-4 against the spread this season, and Texas is playing really well since its 21-point loss at Arkansas in Week 2.

The real question in this game is whether the the front seven of the Oklahoma defense can contain Texas sophomore running back Bijan Robinson. Robinson leads the Big 12, averaging 130.4 yards per game. The Sooners lead the conference in stopping the run, giving up an average of 83.6 yards through five games.

If Oklahoma is able to slow down Robinson and run the ball effectively itself, it could be a long day for the Longhorn defense if Spencer Rattler is given time to find his playmakers downfield.

I’m predicting Oklahoma to weather the storm and come out on top 37-31.

Point spread: Oklahoma -3.5 (-105)

Texas +3.5 (-115)

Moneyline: Oklahoma -165

Texas +145

Over/under: 63.5 (Over -110/Under -110)
