Sooners vs Nebraska, odds, spread, over/under & betting pick Week 3

WynnBET’s Week 3 NCAAF odds have Oklahoma favored by three touchdowns (-22.0) points at home against longtime former conference rival Nebraska. These odds may seem an overstretch for a game featuring two Power Five teams that were, for many years, two national powerhouses. The two teams own 10 national championships and 96 conference championships between them. But this game is being played in Norman, Oklahoma, before a sold-out Sooner crowd and with another Heisman-contending Oklahoma quarterback, Spencer Rattler.

We know Oklahoma can put up points. The question is: Can Nebraska generate enough offensive firepower against a Sooner defense that has yet to earn the buy-in of a number of college football experts that this is the year the OU defense has risen to the level of the offense? We’ll get a much clearer picture of that on Saturday against an unranked Nebraska team that head coach Scott Frost says has everything to gain and nothing to lose.

I am predicting Oklahoma will win big, 45-24, but just miss covering the spread.

Point spread: Oklahoma -22.0

Moneyline: Oklahoma -1750, Nebraska +1000
