Oklahoma basketball’s second leading scorer, Kristian Doolittle, scored just six points in OU’s win on Saturday over Oklahoma State.

The 6-foot, 7-inch senior forward needed just two of those six points, which came barely three minutes into the game, to join the Sooner 1,000-point club in career scoring. He is the 47th Oklahoma player to achieve that milestone.

It was teammate Brady Manek who stole the show, though, in the Sooners’ Bedlam win over in-state rival Oklahoma State. With a three-point barrage that netted him 17 points in the first eight minutes of the game and 22 by halftime, the Sooner scoring leader ended with a game-high 30 points and within a single point of tying his career high, set just two weekends ago against TCU.

Austin Reaves got in the act, as well, breaking out of a scoring slump that had lasted several games. The Wichita State transfer lit up the Lloyd Noble Center crowd with a couple of eye-popping slam dunks on his way to a 21-point performance, his fifth 20-point game of the season, but first in nearly a month.

Here are some additional noteworthy numbers that tell the story of this game:

13 — The Sooners held a 13-point advantage at the half, 43-30, and that was the margin of margin of victory at the final buzzer.

20 — Oklahoma State scored 20 points off of 12 OU turnovers; Oklahoma managed just seven points off of 10 OSU turnovers.

27Brady Manek made seven of 13 three-point shots in the game. The Big 12 three-point leader has made 27 three-balls in his last seven games.

36 — More than half (36) of Oklahoma State’s 69 total points were scored in the paint area.

39:04 — Time out of 40 minutes in which Oklahoma led in the game. The Sooners were tied for the remaining 56 seconds.

42.2 — Oklahoma State shot 42.2 percent for the game and still lost by 13 points.

50 — Oklahoma shot 50 percent for the game, the fifth time this season and third time in Big 12 play, the Sooners have shot 50 percent or better in a game.

10, 186 — Attendance at Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday afternoon for the game (capacity is 11,560).
