No. 16 – Aurthur McGinnis | linebacker | Original rank: No. 5

McGinnis was brought in as a ball-hawking linebacker, but has moved into a reserve role at defensive tackle during his Oklahoma career. Though he’s only played in two games, recording one tackle, he’s provided valuable depth to the Sooners up front and been an important contributor in practice. Grade: Contributor

No. 15 – Prentice McKinney | defensive back | Original rank: No. 4

The 6-foot-1, 181-pound defensive back from South Oak Cliff High School in the Dallas area came in with high expectations, but never could quite get it going on the field for the Sooners. He has seen action in 10 games, mostly in a reserve and special teams role. McKinney seemed to be in line to compete for more involvement on the field going into 2018 before an injury derailed his season before it could get going. He entered the transfer portal in January 2018. Grade: Contributor

No. 14 – Austin Roberts | defensive end | Original rank: No. 25

The junior college defensive end didn’t arrive on campus in Norman until just before the 2015 season, but eventually earned playing time in five games. In 2016 Roberts found his way onto the field in 12 games, including 10 starts. Roberts’ Oklahoma career came to an end after the 2016 season as he quietly left the program. Grade: Contributor

No. 13 – Quinn Mittermeier | offensive lineman | Original rank: No. 14

Quinn Mittermeier may not have ever made headlines, but it is signees like this 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive tackle that help create championship depth for a program like Oklahoma. Mittermeier never started a game, but played in 37 contests during his time in Norman serving primarily as a special teams contributor and career backup. Grade: Contributor
