Clinging to a five-point lead with less than 90 seconds to go in the game the Sooners faced a third-and-10 from their own 18 yard line. Many teams would have played it safe, ran the ball to set up Big 12 kicker Austin Seibert to make it an eight-point game. The Sooners decided to go for the jugular. The corner fade route on third-and-10 isn’t a high-percentage throw, but Murray trusted his read and the hands of his sophomore tight end, who made a spectacular one-handed catch. The play sealed a fourth-straight Big 12 title for the Sooners, avenged their only loss to rival Texas and punched their ticket to the College Football Playoff. Oklahoma fans are hoping of course that this list is incomplete. The Sooners want two more games to collect highlights on what they are hoping is an eighth National Championship season.
