No. 5 — Senior placekicker and punter Austin Seibert

Through three seasons and 40 games for Oklahoma, Austin Seibert ranks first in program history in made extra points (223), third in career scoring (361) and point-after-attempt percentage (.982), fourth in field-goal percentage (46 of 60, .767) and fifth in career field goals (46) made and punting average (41.8 yards per punt).

Seibert was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team as a kicker last season by the league coaches and was honorable mention as a punter.

The senior OU kicker enjoyed his best season as a dual kicker/punter for the Sooners in 2017. He made 17 of 21 field-goal attempts, a success rate of a career-high .810, including 12 successful field-goal tries in a row from Oct. 14 to Dec. 2.

In addition, Seibert also performed the OU kickoff duties a year ago. Eighty-four of his 111 kickoffs reached the end zone for touchbacks.

Seibert’s all-purpose leg will definitely play a big role in Oklahoma’s success in 2018.
