West Virginia Senior Running Back Justin Crawford

West Virginia running back Justin Crawford is a terror on wheels. No one knows this better than Oklahoma, against whom last season the junior Mountaineer speedster ran through, over and around until he had totaled a season- and career-high 331 yards, the third most in a single game in West Virginia football history.

Two weeks later, Crawford put on another show, in the regular-season finale against Baylor, rambling for 209 yards, including a career-best 63-yard scamper.

Crawford’s 1,184 rushing yards for the season ranked fourth best in the Big 12 and was tops among those backs returning for the 2017 season. His 7.3 yards per carry was sixth best in the country last season.

Last season was Crawford’s first in the Big 12. He was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Year.

Crawford will no doubt be a marked man when the Mountaineers come to Norman next season for the final game of the regular season.

The conference title could very well be on the line when Oklahoma hosts West Virginia next season, and Crawford has all the essentials to be a one-man wrecking crew at the Sooners’ party.
