Sooner Football: Five Takeaways From Oklahoma’s Victory Over Baylor

On the evening of Nov. 14, the Sooner football team rolled into Baylor’s McClane Stadium carrying the heavy baggage of two consecutive, blow-out losses to the Bears. At the end of regulation, Oklahoma emerged victorious and in one rainy, glorious night dispatched their green and gold tormentors by a ten-point margin.

The Sooners’ winning ways continue, and now they have a tremendous victory in hostile territory over a team many thought would make the College Football Playoff. Indeed, talk of making the Playoff is now a real possibility for the surging Sooners. Here are five takeaways from Oklahoma’s victory over previously unbeaten and top-10-ranked Baylor.
