Another week, another bunch of head-scratchers. Two teams at the top of the Big 12 totem poll before the season lost this past weekend, and things are becoming more and more difficult for a Big 12 team to make the inaugural College Football Playoff.

(5-2). Previous: . West Virginia Mountaineers. 3. team. 2391. Well, this is weird. West Virginia turned the ball over three times, but still managed to beat Baylor by two scores thanks to a solid from Clint Trickett. West Virginia’s defense came up with some big stops, and they put themselves in the top half of the Big 12 race.
