Meet the Staff:
Joe Buettner, Founder and Editor
Email: [email protected]
Bio: Formerly a staff writer and editor with Fansided’s Air Alamo, I went to the network in the summer of 2012 with the idea of starting an Oklahoma site. Fansided did not have an OU blog two years ago, but since then, the blog has grown tremendously. I am a journalism major at the University of Oklahoma. I, also, enjoy San Antonio Spurs basketball, Taco Bell, and a comfortable pair of headphones.
Christopher Long, Columnist
Bio: I have lived in the state of Oklahoma all my life. I am Sooner Born and Sooner Bred. I cover every nook and cranny of The University of Oklahoma Sooners football program. I live, sleep, football, covering games, as well as off the field stories that affects the Sooner program. I am a proud OU fan, but I am not afraid to be objective and realistic about what is happening in and around the program.
Diego Galaviz, Staff Writer
Bio: Overall sports fan, especially football and basketball. I was the sports editor of my high school’s newspaper until I graduated in 2014. I received 2nd place in the 2014 Oklahoma Scholastic Media for Opinion Story. I love my teams, but will criticize when needed, especially on Twitter. I’m an Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma City Thunder, and New England Patriots fan.
Nathan Harkins, Staff Writer
Bio: Broadcast and Electronic Media student at OU. New to this whole blogging thing, but I have been a passionate fan of OU sports for as long as I can remember. I love OU Basketball and Football, and also try to stay knowledgeable on every sport going on in Norman. I am from Independence, Missouri and love the Royals and Chiefs, but Oklahoma always comes first in my sports world.
Spenser Davis, Staff Writer
Bio: I’m a journalism student at the University of Oklahoma. In addition to Oklahoma sports, I enjoy hiking, retro baseball hats and GIFs.
