Oklahoma Sooners get commitment from 2015 DE Kenneth Mann

According to the fine folks over at The Football Braniacs, the Oklahoma Sooners reeled in their second commitment in three days. Oklahoma picked up a commitment from Tyrell Jacobs, who visited Monday, and now they have 2015 defensive end Kenneth Mann.

Mann is a 6’4″, 240 pound defensive end from Burleson, Texas. He had plenty of offers, and a handful of interest from some Power 5 schools. The Sooners, however, beat out the likes of the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Iowa Hawkeyes, Kansas State Wildcats, and Minnesota Gophers.

The FB Braniacs broke the news just before defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery could send his usual celebratory tweet.

The Sooners now have eight commitments for their 2015 classes, and Montgomery’s definitely making up for lost time with the early July dead period.

According to The Football Braniacs, Mann made his visit Wednesday, just a week after receiving a scholarship offer from Oklahoma. The visit ended with Mann deciding to verbal with Oklahoma and gear up for his high school season without worrying about the recruiting process.
