National Signing Day is a day away, but there’s not much to look forward to football-wise after that.
Thankfully, the University of Oklahoma announced the 2014 Red-White Game will be played April 12 and is due for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
The annual spring game pitting the team against each other is always fun. It’s extremely fun when there’s position battles in the off-season.
This year, fans probably won’t be as excited about seeing the quarterbacks as Knight should have the job locked up, but running backs and receivers should be an interesting group to watch.
Also, how well can the defense play after their big time performance in the 2014 Sugar Bowl.
All of this will hopefully become clearer and/or answered come April 12.
Tickets are $5 online if you order before April 9, and seating is first come, first serve. That ticket ticket price will go up to $10 after that date.
The game will be played at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, which hopefully will be a nice spring day for Sooner fans in attendance.
