September reshuffled for 2014 Oklahoma Football Season

The 2014 season is months away, but a few date changes have been made to the September schedule.

Oklahoma originally was set to open the season with Louisiana Tech (Aug. 30), then have a bye week before their Sept. 13 match-up with the Tennessee Volunteers.

However, their Sept. 20 road trip to Tulsa has been moved to Sept. 6 when they will face the Golden Hurricane on Skelly Field in Tulsa, OK.

Following their home match-up with the Vols, Oklahoma’s trip to Morgantown Sept. 27 was moved up a week to Sept. 20.

Oklahoma then will leave the Sept. 27 as a bye week before their trip to Fort Worth when they’ll face the TCU Horned Frogs.

To save some confusion, the new 2014 schedule looks as follows:

Aug 30Louisiana Tech
Sept 6at Tulsa

Sept 20at West Virginia
Oct 4at TCU
Oct 11Texas (in Dallas)
