Former OU star defensive tackle Gerald McCoy was given the opportunity to make a cameo on The Colbert Report on Comedy Central last night.

A stud now for the Tampa Bay Bucaneers and three-time Pro Bowler, McCoy starred as himself in a segment involving Stephen Colbert, Super Bowl Champion receiver Isaac Bruce, and three-time Super Bowl Champion head coach Joe Gibbs.

In the video, Colbert is put through a quarterback training session with Bruce as a receiver, Gibbs as his coach, and McCoy as the only defender.

McCoy received a nice description from Colbert on the show, and even “lit up” the 49-year-old Comedy Central host.

It’s a solid sketch, and nice to see a former Sooner and Oklahoma City native getting the role on one of Comedy Central’s most popular and funniest shows.
