Barry Switzer is one of the greatest coaches in college football history. He is also one of the most unique characters to ever breathe air. His mouth often makes statements that leave everyone else’s jaws sitting on the floor. This week was no different. Heading into the big game against the Iowa State Cyclones, Oklahoma Sooners head coach Bob Stoops needs only one win to tie Barry Switzer (157-29-4) for the most wins ever in Sooners’ history at 157.

Barry Switzer is happy to welcome Bob Stoops to that achievement. As a matter of fact, he tweeted his support for Stoops’ tying his record.

Yeah, Iowa State is NOT a good team this year, but wow… Talk about bulletin board material. Can’t wait to see what he says about Kansas State next week when Stoops has a chance to break the record.

You’ve got to love Barry Switzer. They don’t make em like that anymore.
