The Oklahoma Sooners prepare to rebound from their upsetting loss to the Texas Longhorns at the Red River Rivalry last weekend, and fortunately for them, the hapless Kansas Jayhawks are on the schedule. Here is how you can watch the Oklahoma vs. Kansas live stream, what time the game starts, what television network it will play on, and more information about the big game.
- Date: Oct. 19
- Start Time: 3:30 p.m. EST
- Location: Memorial Stadium, LAWRENCE, KS
- TV Info: ESPN
- Live Stream: WatchESPN
The Oklahoma Sooners will come into the game with Blake Bell returning as the starting quarterback, despite some fans insisting on a change. Of course, these same fans wanted Bell in the starting lineup in the first place when Trevor Knight was having problems early on. Stoops however will do the smart thing and stick with one quarterback because that is the only way to help anyone become a solid starter.
Playing Kansas is the perfect chance for Bell to get his mojo back again.
The Jayhawks rank 105th in the nation in passing offense and 103rd in rushing offense, so the Sooners defense will get a break this week, one that is much needed with Corey Nelson and Jordan Phillips both undergoing surgery this week. With not much in the way of offense, Bell can just play controlled football and there is a good chance Sooners’ fans see the same Bell that threw for 413 yards in his win over Tulsa.
It’s hard to forget that the teams that gave Bell trouble was the TCU Horned Frogs and the always tough rivalry game with the Texas Longhorns. Plus, this will be Bell’s last chance to work on his game before the two best teams in the Big 12 lines up in the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Oct. 26 and the Baylor Bears on Nov. 7.
The Oklahoma vs. Kansas live stream begins at 3:30 p.m. EST.
