Annual Red-White Game scheduled for April 13

The off-season is young, but Tuesday Oklahoma announced the date of its annual spring scrimmage. The Red-White game, which is held every year at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, will kick-off Saturday, April 13.

For the second straight year, the Sooners will, also, hold their Big Boomer BBQ just north of the stadium.

Ticket prices are not available at this time, but kids under the age of five and members of the Sooner Kids Club will be admitted free of charge. The price of tickers are usually cheap, and this is an event that historically does not sell out.

However, I would encourage fans to pack the stadium April 13. Tickets are general admission and seating is first come, first serve. This is a great opportunity to watch Oklahoma football, especially if you can not attend home games regularly or are not able to visit Norman often.

Campus parking will be free for all fans, making it a very affordable trip to OU’s great campus.

More information about the game will be released within the next few weeks, including time of the kick-off and who will be playing in the alumni flag football game.

Visit our football section on Stormin’ in Norman periodically or sign up for free daily updates, so you can be alerted when more information becomes available.
