A day after stealing a commitment from Oklahoma State, the Sooners lost their lone OL commit to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Today, three-star prospect Dalton Rodriguez broke the news of his intention to flip through his Twitter account.
Just decommited from OU and now im going to TU! It was a decision that was best for me!

Dalton Rodriguez, a 6’6” and 250 pound prospect, was a key figure on the Tulsa Union football team as a defensive end. Rodriguez had many offers to play defensive end but committed to the Sooners back in May knowing the Sooners coveted him as an offensive lineman.
Tulsa was one of the schools recruiting Rodriguez as a defensive end and recently there were rumblings that Rodriguez was second guessing the switch to offensive line. It appeared this was the deciding factor for him to switch from OU to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
The Sooners began the day with only one offensive line prospect and now end the day with zero. Not only do they not have any offensive line recruits now, but the Sooners are still without defensive tackle recruits yet.
Offensive line and defensive tackle are without a doubt the two biggest positions of need, yet the Sooners are without any for their 2013 class. It might not be time to panic yet, but with signing day less than two months away, it is by no means comforting to see Rodriguez switch schools.
