Somehow on the same night, Fansided College got some exposure on ESPNU. On a Thursday night, Tony Breland of Bama Hammer and I got some television time on the latest episode of UNITE.
Mine was not as special. All I did was send in a tweet, which I guess was good enough to put on national television. Though, a big thank you to ESPN for putting my Twitter handle in big letters, as well as my gorgeous Twitter profile picture.
Yeah, it is not that great. Only a few seconds of the spotlight for me. However, Tony got about five minutes of fame in a battle of the bloggers.
Tony runs the Alabama site here on Fansided, and he faced ESPN’s LSU Tiger blogger. *SPOILER* Tony represented Fansided well by beating the ESPN writer, so congratulations are in order to him.
